AUSTIN – This clickable map​ shows population changes in the Austin area’s Census tracts from 2013 to 2014. 

The blacker the tract, the more percentage increase. Red, however, signifies population percentage decreases.

Austin can expect a lot of growth over the next few decades.

Where will all of those new residents end up? Current trends show a lot of Austin’s growth concentrated in the suburbs. ​​
