HOUSTON – Tennessee-based Mid-America Apartment Communities has purchased Yale@6 from Trammell Crow Residential Co.

The purchase registers as the largest multifamily investment in the I-610 Loop since China Construction America's purchase of Broadstone Post Oak, a 275-unit apartment complex that sold last May for approximately $70.7 million.

The 352-unit, five-story apartment complex, located just north of I-10 at 655 Yale St. in the Heights district, was completed in 2015 as Alexan Heights. The 350,000-sf community has studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments and is currently 93 percent occupied.

HFF brokered the sale on behalf of Trammell Crow Residential.
