Yale@6th in Houston Heights sold

​HOUSTON – Mid-America Apartment Communities has expanded its Texas portfolio with the purchase of Yale@6 from property developer Trammell Crow Residential Co.

Yale@6th is a 352-unit, five-story apartment complex located just north of I-10 at 655 Yale St. in the Houston Heights district of northwest Houston.

Completed in 2015 as Alexan Heights, the 350,000-sf community houses studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments and is currently 93 percent occupied. 

The purchase of Yale@6th registers as the largest multifamily investment in the I-610 Loop since China Construction America’s purchase of Broadstone Post Oak, a 275-unit apartment complex that sold last May for approximately $70.72 million.
