​​WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nearly half of the 20 fastest-growing U.S. cities are in Texas, according to personal finance website WalletHub. In fact, the Lone Star State claimed the top two spots.

Frisco was first on the list, followed by League City. Also making the top 20 we​re Midland (7), McKinney (8), Bryan (10), Odessa (12), College Station (15), Mission (18), and Pearland (19).

To compile its list, WalletHub evaluated 515 cities of varying population sizes, using such metrics ​as growth in overall population, working-age population, college-educated population, median household income, and employment.
