Work starts this week on new Tanger outlet mall

​​FORT WORTH – ​​Construction begins Thursday on the Tanger Outlets Fort Worth, a 350,000-sf retail center at I-35W and SH 114.

Greensboro, N.C.-based Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. plans to bring over 80 upscale retailers to the area. The outlet mall will anchor Champions Circle, a 279-acre mixed-use development.

Earlier this year, Tanger signed leases with Nike, Levi’s, Banana Republic, Gap, Sketchers, Old Navy, Express, Carter’s, and Oshkosh.

In all, Tanger Outlets Fort Worth will employ more than 900 full- and part-time employees when it opens next year.
