FORT WORTH - Texas Health Resources will reopen the former Forest Park Medical Center as a hospital specializing in orthopedic procedures such as joint replacement and rehabilitation.

Four months ago, Texas Health Resources paid $121 million for the medical campus, including an 80,000-sf office building and parking garage, during a bankruptcy auction.

The hospital with 54 beds and 12 operating rooms then shut down for a transition.

Renamed Texas Health Hospital Clearfork, the 150,000-sf facility—at 5400 Clearfork Main St.—will operate as a full-service medical facility with an emergency room and specialize in joint replacement and procedures and services.
