HOUSTON – Halliburton is selling its west Houston office complex known as the Oak Park campus, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, the commercial real estate brokerage listing the property.

The 48-acre site at 10200 Bellaire Blvd. includes a 568,458-sf office building, a 17,500-sf fitness center, a day care center, central plant and a five-level parking garage.

The property is just west of the Sam Houston Tollway and Bellaire Blvd. in the Westchase District.

Halliburton has taken a huge hit from the oil price collapse and has shed thousands of jobs since the oil downturn began two years ago.

The Houston-based energy services firm has about 50,000 employees worldwide, down from 85,000 in 2014.
