GRAPEVINE – An expansion of the Courtyard Marriott/Towneplace Suites, which are both Marriott hotels, has been approved by the Grapevine City Council, along with the planning and zoning commission.
The addition of a third brand—Hilton Garden Inn—will bring an expansion of 150 rooms, taking the property’s total room count to 450 rooms.
Additionally, the expansion will add 5,000 sf of meeting space, making the total amount of meeting space on the site 15,000 sf.
The Hilton Garden Inn will be six stories and feature a restaurant and a bar.
The expansion is a part of a master plan for a 52-acre development along SH 26 called Silver Lake Crossings.
The developer said he is looking to break ground on the hotels and apartment complex in third quarter 2017 with completion on the entire development expected in June 2019.
