Victoria: Jags scratch up new digs

VICTORIA – A new $20 million on-campus housing project is headed to the University of Houston-Victoria.

The 380-bed housing facility will include two- and four-bedroom suites designed to incorporate living/learning communities within the residence hall.

Kitchens/lounges will be on each floor to serve the sophomore and upper division student population.

The project is expected to get underway in June for scheduled delivery in August 2016.

Upon completion, the housing will be operated by the University.

Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions is the developer.
