Sealy: Valerus Field Solutions ‘trucking’ to 396K-SF facility

​SEALY – Valerus Field Solutions has leased a chunk of the former BAE Systems Army truck manufacturing facility near Sealy to consolidate three sites in Texas and Louisiana.

The company has leased 396,000 sf out of 930,000 sf of space at the property, some 35 miles west of Houston along I-10, according to Cushman & Wakefield.

The move, being done in stages, is expected to be completed in mid-September.

The Sealy location is expected to employ up to 250 at its peak, including engineers, accountants, human resources personnel, project managers and warehouse workers, according to the company.

The deal represents the largest manufacturing lease in the Houston area so far this year.
