HOUSTON – Kindred Health care has announced its second Houston hospital closure within a month.
The latest facility to close is Kindred Hospital— Medical Center Holcombe, at 2130 W. Holcombe Blvd.
According to the Texas Workforce Commission, 204 positions will be affected.
The announcement was made less than two weeks after Kindred announced it would close its Baytown hospital, affecting 37 positions.
In both announcements, the company cited a desire to consolidate services and said the decision would not affect other Kindred hospitals.
