HOUSTON – The new campus for the High School for Law and Justice is expected to break ground at the end of the month at Scott and Coyle Streets.
The 115,502-sf campus will cost under $40 million to build and should deliver at the end of 2017. It is being financed by Houston Independent School District's $1.89 billion bond. Students should move into the building for the spring 2018 semester.
The school is relocating from its current spot at 4701 Dickson St., adjacent to St. Thomas High School, which bought the 11-acre campus from HISD. St. Thomas will move into and renovate the property once HISD vacates it.
B3Ci, a joint venture between Balfour Beatty Construction and 3Ci, is the general contractor. DLR Group and Page designed the campus.
