AUSTIN – Brandywine Realty Trust finalized the purchase of the Garza tract—one of the last large remaining infill sites in southwest Austin.
The purchase price for the 34.6-acre site was $20.6 million.
Located near South MoPac and William Cannon Dr., the vacant land has been in play for at least 13 years.
Last year, Austin City Council finally approved conditions for impervious cover and traffic counts that were acceptable to both sides, Brandywine officials said.
A 9.5-acre parcel is under contract to two independent developers—one that will develop residential units and one that will build a hotel.
