RGV getting $12 million harbor entertainment project

​MERCEDES – ​​McAllen-based Kamel Salomon Investments Ltd. is developing The Harbor, a $12 million entertainment complex.

One mile from the Rio Grande Valley outlet stores, The Harbor will have a man-made lake and be anchored by BigShots Golf. Those components are part of the first phase, which is slated for completion in fall 2017.​

Phase II will consist of a go-kart race track, zip line system, trampoline park, and casual dining.

Final completion of the project is expected in summer 2018.
