​​GRAPEVINE – Stand Rock Hospitality is developing a $330 million, 1,020-room resort and waterpark. It will be the city’s third water resort.

The resort will sit on 33 acres within the city’s 185-acre development site adjacent to Grapevine Mills Mall.  At build out, the development will include the resort, a 190,000-sf water park, a mini-golf course, laser tag, rock climbing, spa, dining options, and meeting spaces.

The $170 million first phase will begin mid-2107. It will include 420 guest rooms with a potential Wyndham property​, 170,000 sf of indoor and outdoor waterpark features, and 20,000 sf of family entertainment.

In future phases, Stand Rock will develop 200 timeshare condos, 400 hotel rooms, and a waterpark expansion. At comp​letion, the development will employ over 1,000 and have an annual economic impact of more than $100 million.

During construction, Stand Rock estimates they will employ 1,500 with a direct and indirect economic impact of $157 million.
