Grand Parkway Marketplace sequel coming

​​SPRING – With the Grand Parkway Marketplace​ open-air shopping center 75 percent preleased, developer Kimco Realty Corp. is ready to break ground on another just across the street.

The New York-based company has purchased 35 acres for Grand Parkway Marketplace II. Ground breaks this summer on the 350,000-sf shopping center that will have​ three anchor stores. Opening is slated for fall 2017.

The first Grand Parkway Marketplace broke ground in April at the corner of Kuykendahl Rd. and Spring Stuebner Rd. The 450,000-sf center, which will be anchored by Target, will open in a year.
