Empty nesters take flight to painted brick homes in Conroe
CONROE – Drees Custom Homes is offering an unusual option on its homes in Grand Central Park: painted brick.
"I can’t think of another production builder that has painted brick exteriors," Chris Olson, Drees Custom Homes Houston sales manager said in an announcement. "We think many of our buyers will be coming from The Woodlands and wanting something a little different."
Model homes are being built in the first section of Grand Central Park, a community being developed on the former Camp Strake Boy Scout’s land near Loop 336 and I-45.
The Kentucky-based builder will debut several new floor plans geared towards empty nesters in the Conroe community.
Pricing is from the $410,000s.
Four of the builder’s nine floor plans in the community are one-story homes, and all of the homes have downstairs guest suites.
The plans emphasize outdoor living with large patios and optional sliding glass doors that open to the outside.
