1.1M SF and 250 new jobs in DeSoto

​​​​​​DESOTO – NFI Industries has rented more than 1.1 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space at 501 W. Danieldale Rd.

The new NFI location is in Southfield Park, a 157-acre business park is south of Interstate-20 along Old Hickory Trail.

The warehouse project was finished last year. At its start, it was the largest speculative industrial building in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Jeremiah Quarles, chief executive officer of the DeSoto Economic Development Corp., said NFI leased the larger building after getting a distribution account for Lowe’s Cos. home improvement stores’ appliance division.​

"They will create 250 new jobs and invest an additional $6 million in tenant finish out," Quarles, said. "In total, this is a $53 million project."​
