DALLAS - Iconic Dallas hotel the Hilton Anatole is opening its resort water complex, JadeWaters.

Construction on the project, which spans three acres within the hotel’s seven-acre sculpture garden, started in October 2015 and is expected to open on July 22, 2016.

It features a family and children’s area with a 7,000-sf beach-entry activity pool with play areas, two slides, and a 630-foot lazy river. A separate 4,000-sf leisure pool with a hot tub includes a swim-up bar and in-pool seating.

The water park will be able to hold roughly 1,500 guests at a time.
JadeWaters Grill and Bar will have full-service dining, grab-and-go options and service the pool’s lounge chains. Other offerings include showers and lockers.

Dotted among the facility are 46 pieces of Asian art owned by the Anatole’s owners, the Crow family. The area also includes Asian influences like Japanese- and Chinese-style tea gardens and two event lawns shaped like Japanese tea gardens.

The Crows family provided funding for the park, a roughly $20 million investment. It will employ around 150 seasonal employees, including 40 lifeguards.
