​IRVING – Two previously delayed projects in Las Colinas are moving forward.

The $173 mi​llion, 250,000-sf Music Factory mixed-use project on Carpenter Fwy. is being developed by the ARK Group. It includes an eight-screen Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 8,000-seat Live Nation indoor/outdoor concert hall, other entertainment venues, restaurants, and specialty eateries. Almost 100,000 sf of office space is already leased. 

Contractor Skanska USA will have the first Music Factory building ready next summer.

The more than $100 million Water Street project on O'Connor Blvd. and Lake Carolyn will have​ over 60,000 sf of shops and eateries. It is being developed by Gables Residential. 

Water Street ​will also have more than 300 apartments developed by JPI. The project should be complete in 2017.​
