​​LEWISVILLE – North Texas-based ​​cosmetics company Mary Kay Inc. will build a $100 million manufacturing and R&D complex near the Vista Ridge shopping mall.​

Construction will begin in September on the 470,000-sf building on 26 acres at the northeast corner of Denton Tap Rd. and Vista Ridge Mall Dr.

The facility will replace the company's almost 50-year-old plant on Regal Row near Stemmons Fwy.​ in Dallas. More than 500 employees will relocate.

Jacobs Engineering designed the building, and Beck Group is the general contractor.​
