AUSTIN – Invesco Real Estate is buying a 50 percent stake in the 100 Congress building for $125 million, or $600 per sf.
The deal represents one of the highest per-sf prices ever recorded in the city, reports Real Estate Alert.
The seller, MetLife Real Estate, will retain a 50 percent stake in the 412,000-sf building.
CBRE, which occupies 20,000 sf in the 22-story building, represented MetLife in the transaction.
