DALLAS - The major $138 million renovation of the Dallas County Records Building Complex has been awarded to Gensler's Dallas office, which will be the prime architect and designer for the facility.

The three-building complex played host to Jack Ruby's trial and has a jail cell that once held Clyde Barrow.

The property overlooks Dealey Plaza at the west end of downtown Dallas.

This is one of the biggest government development projects expected to get underway this year.
