DALLAS – Billionaire John Goff and Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate LLC have closed on their purchase of the Rosewood Crescent hotel in Uptown.

They plan to return the hotel to its historic name, Hotel Crescent Court, and spend $30 million upgrading the property.
The hotel anchors The Crescent, an 11-acre, mixed-use development that is undergoing its own $33 million transformation.
Crescent Real Estate now owns the entire triangular-shaped block from McKinney Ave. to Maple Ave. to Cedar Springs Rd.
The development includes the 220-room hotel, Nobu restaurant, and a 22,000-sf space.
Hotel Crescent Court also includes The Crescent Club.
