Four Texas cities boast biggest apartments

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Four Texas cities have made RENTCafe’s list of the 20 cities with the largest apartment sizes.

Plano ranked second on the list, followed by Houston, which ranked 15th. Dallas and Irving tied for 18th.

The average size of a studio apartment in Plano is 578 sf, and the average size of a one-bedroom unit is 765 sf.

Atlanta has the biggest apartments on average, and Jersey City, N.J., and Henderson, Nev., are tied for third. 

El Paso and Garland ranked second and 20th, respectively, on the company’s list of the cities with the smallest apartment sizes.
