FRISCO – An 18-acre tract in Frisco for a new Walmart Supercenter has sold.
Walmart will develop the 189,000-sf store on the southeast corner of FM 423 and SH 380.
“We are developing multiple corners at the intersection of FM 423 and US 380 in Prosper and Frisco,” Robert Dorazil, President of UCD said in a statement. “Walmart will be a great co-tenant for the other retailers we are currently working with.”
In 2014, UCD purchased the northeast corner of FM 423 and US 380 in Prosper.
UCD is currently under construction on a shopping center is anchored by Kroger Marketplace.
UCD has also owns the northwest corner of FM 423 and US 380.
“With traffic counts at the intersection nearing 80,000 vehicles per day, strong population growth, and ideal spacing from other retail projects in the area, these developments are receiving a lot of interest from quality retailers,” broker David Davidson Jr. said.
