DALLAS - The Market in the Farmers Market has a food hall.
The Dallas Farmers Market has been racking up the deals with its latest phase, with the latest addition bringing the market to 100 percent leased with a wide variety of retail and restaurant tenants.
The Market is 100 percent leased to restaurants and retailers after opening in May 2016.
The retailers at the Farmers Market are being quoted $30 per sf for air-conditioned space.
A sample of retailers include:
- Scardello Cheese: The cheese maker has signed a lease for 535 sf.
- Dallas Antique Company: The retailer has signed a lease for 875 sf.
- Rex’s Seafood Market: The seafood market has leased 1,751 sf.
- Bullzerk: The concept has leased 729 sf.
- Cajun Tailgators: The restaurant has leased 1,102 sf of retail space.
Jack Gosnell, a senior vice president at CBRE-UCR, said there’s a bunch of new things ready to happen on the 15,000-sf retail space underneath the roughly 300-unit apartment community.
The strip center—which could house tenants in 800 sf to 3,000 sf—underneath the apartments is expected to hit the market for $35 to $40 per sf.
Gosnell expects to begin putting together a tenant mix in mid-July 2016.
