The MASSIV Monster Blaster towers more than 81 feet—81 feet 6 ¾ inches, to be exact—MASSIV features three uphill shoots, twists and turns and a triple drop to the end.
The MASSIV Monster Blaster opened today!
“MASSIV will be the marquee ride for our park,” said Schlitterbahn Galveston Island General Manager Ron Sutula.
A water coaster has the feel of a roller coaster with multiple uphill blaster sections and downhill spirals.
The design, the length of two and a half football fields, is an exceptionally tall water coaster in a very narrow space while balancing g-forces, ride dynamics, and velocities to produce the most exhilarating experience possible.
It features three uphill sections, a series of twists and turns, and a triple drop finale.
Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark has been recognized as the World’s Best Indoor Waterpark eight consecutive years in a row.
