ABoR: Austin, Bastrop, Buda, Georgetown, Round Rock home sales May 2016

​​​AUSTIN-ROUND ROCK – The Austin Board of Realtors (ABoR) reports median single-family home price down -0.3 percent in May 2016 over April 2016 while sales climbed to 2,540.

Quick facts include:

• T​he median price of existing single-family homes decreased to $285,000 down -0.3 percent versus April 2016.
• Existing single-family home sales increased 13.0 percent from April 2016 for a May 2016 total of 2,540 sold units.
• Condos decreased in price to $228,000 down -5.8 percent versus April 2016.
• ​​​Existingcondo sales increased 8.8 percent in May 2016 over April 2016 for a total of 298 sold units.
