​​RICHARDSON – ​​​A joint venture of Transwestern Development Co., UBS Asset Management, and Malouf Interests will break ground this month on a 310,000-sf office project near the CityLine campus.

Called 3400 @ CityLine, the project is located at 3400 N. Central Expy. BOKA Powell designed the five-story building, which will have floor-to-ceiling glass, ten-foot finished ceilings, and a multilevel parking garage. Amenities will include a deli and lounge area, fitness center, and a 40,000-sf​ exterior courtyard.

Transwestern will handle leasing for the project.

Other project team members are structural consultant Cardno Haynes Whaley; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineer DBR; civil engineer Haff & Associates; and landscape architect Pacheco​ Kock.

A consortium composed of Amegy Bank NA, American National Bank of Texas, and Commerce Bank is providing construction financing for the project.
