Banking on 120K-SF HQ in Corpus

​​​​​CORPUS CHRISTI – Kleberg Bank has purchased a building that will house its new Corpus Christi market headquarters—a move that officials say signifies the company’s commitment to the community. 

The Staples St. building includes about 120,000 sf, the bank will retain about 30,000 sf for its operations said Gabe Guerra, president of the Corpus Christi market.​

The headquarters at the Kleberg Bank Building, located at 5350 S. Staples St., will include a broad range of services that will move to the property within the next year. 

The purchased structure will see a makeover, including a new facade and three-level LED lighting around the building, Guerra said.

The former headquarters, located at 4211 Ayers St., will continue as a financial center and drive-in bank​.
