Kroger to open its second-largest store in Texas

​​​LEAGUE CITY – ​​​Kroger is opening a 124,000-sf Marketplace. It will be the second-largest Kroger in the state.

The League City Marketplace, located at SH 96 and Hobbs Rd., combines a supersized K​roger with a furniture and home goods store. It will have a fuel center and pharmacy.

The store is expected to create about 300 hourly and salaried positions.

The Marketplace will replace the current Kroger at 200 I-45.
