The Houston-based energy company will move all 2,200 of its local employees into its new campus, located off Beltway 8 West between Westheimer Rd. and Briar Forest Dr., in July. It'll be the company's first permanent headquarters since its 2012 spinoff from ConocoPhillips. The 14-acre campus is anchored by 13- and 15-story office towers connected via a 3,000-sf walking bridge and an eight-floor parking garage. Amenities include a soccer field, sports deck with putting greens, fitness center, and cafe. Rhode Island-based Gilbane Building Co. is the general contractor, and St. Louis-based HOK designed the campus. Phillips broke ground on the campus in November 2013. The building topped out in December 2014. | Houston Business Journal
