​​​AUSTIN - Lionstone Investments of Houston purchased the Brodie Oaks Shopping Center near South Lamar Blvd. where it converges with SH 71 and Capital of Texas Hwy.

The sprawling older shopping center largely assembled in seven parcels was most recently valued at more than $62.3 million by the Travis Central Appraisal District. The Toys R Us site, which is owned by the retailer, was not part of the sale.

The property—285,044 sf of retail, 37,546 sf of office and 31 acres—was 91.5 percent leased at the time of sale. 

Tenants include Sprouts Farmers Market, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Morning and Starbucks.

Lionstone Investment officials said the center will continue to be managed by Barshop & Oles.​
