DALLAS – The Turner Multifamily Impact Fund has acquired two North Texas apartment properties.

The fund acquired the Legends on Lake Highlands, a 27-building, 356-unit apartment complex northwest of downtown. The community includes two swimming pools, a fitness center, and a dog park.

It also purchased The View at Kessler Park, an 11-story, 299-unit apartment tower in North Oak Cliff. The '60s-era building, located close to the Bishop Arts District, was renovated in 2012.

The Turner Multifamily Impact Fund also purchased properties in Austin, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, and Florida.

Texas native Eva Longoria, an actress and philanthropist, is among the investors of the fund, which is seeking to battle the nation's housing affordability crisis.
