GRAPEVINE - The Gaylord Texan Resort and Hotel in Grapevine has finished its $5 million expansion of its water park, Paradise Springs.

Officials say the water park expansion is projected to bring an additional 12,000 visitors to the city.

The expansion includes a giant water play structure that has interactive water features and three winding watersides as well as private cabanas, lounge chairs and a toddler pool.

The ten-acre water park also features a lazy river, 6,000-sf family lagoon with a 27-foot-long waterside and zip line.

The water park is not available to non-guests of the hotel.

Resort guests will receive wristbands for the pool. Guests will receive up to four wristbands if they are staying in a guest room and up to six if they are staying in a suite.
