DALLAS - A Dallas business that looked at exiting downtown has decided to stay put.

Chubb Insurance spent several months looking at office options downtown and beyond.

The insurance company—which has two floors in the Bryan Tower—was represented by CBRE in its office search.

After scouting the market, Chubb has decided to stay in Bryan Tower. But the insurance company is making a move within the building.

Chubb will be shifting its offices from the 33rd and 34th floors to 35th and 36th, building permits show. The more than 50,000-sf lease is a big win for Bryan Tower.

Chubb’s lease is the latest in a series of major transactions so far this year downtown.

Compass Professional Health just rented almost 58,000 sf in the Bank of America Plaza tower and is moving its office from Oak Lawn.

And El Centro college rented 55,000 sf in the One Main Place tower to expand its downtown campus.
