DALLAS - With another major lease, Uptown Dallas’ newest high-rise is now almost 90 percent rented.

Cushman & Wakefield has completed its lease of two floors in the new McKinney & Olive tower.

The 20-story office tower will open in three months.

Cushman & Wakefield is relocating its office after its recent merger with DTZ.

The real estate firm is currently housed in the Rosewood Court tower on Cedar Springs Rd. in Uptown. DTZ has offices in Preston Center in North Dallas.

Real estate brokers say the commercial real estate firm looked at buildings in Uptown and downtown before focusing on the McKinney & Olive project.

With the latest lease, McKinney & Olive is 88 percent leased, according to developer Crescent Real Estate Equities.

Other major tenants in McKinney & Olvie include Prologis, Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, Sidley Austin LLP, McKinsey & Co. and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, the $225 million project has 530,000 sf of office and retail space.
