Former townhomes project site to become luxury condos

HOUSTON – Atlanta-based Stolz Partners LLC is under contract to purchase nearly two acres at 6017 Memorial Dr. for a luxury condominium project.

The property was initially developed as a luxury townhome community called Piazza Lucca. Butler Brothers broke ground on the 17-home project early last year, but have since axed the project. 

The new condominium midrise, called The Sophie at Bayou Bend, was designed by local architect Mirador Group and will have 42 units ranging from 2,400 to nearly 5,000 sf. Units will average about $1.8 million.

Sudhoff Co. has begun marketing and preselling units. Stolz Partners will break ground on The Sophie once half of the units are sold.
