Nevada developer to build 1.1M-sf industrial center

​​​DALLAS – Reno, Nev.-based Dermody Properties Inc. has purchased just over 60 acres at Bonnie View Rd. and Telephone Rd. and plans to start work on a two-phase, 1.1 million-sf industrial hub.

LogistiCenterSM will start off with a 622,440-sf distribution center that could be expanded to 1.1 million sf. The second phase coul​d include a 444,600-sf distribution center.

The facilities are being designed to cater to e-commerce companies, with skylights, abundant auto and trailer parking, and LED lighting systems​.

Construction will begin this summer. Completion of the initial phase is expected in early 2017.

CBRE is representing Dermody Properties in leasing the project.
