DALLAS – A Nevada-based real estate firm has purchased 60 acres in far southern Dallas for a major industrial project.

Dermody Properties bought the 60.2-acre site at Bonnie View and Telephone Rd. near I-20.

The developer will build a 1.1 million-sf industrial park called LogistiCenter at Dallas on the land.

The first phase will be a 622,440-sf distribution center that will open in early 2017.

The second phase will be comprised of a 444,600-sf distribution center.
Expected to appeal to e-commerce companies operating locally, regionally or nationally, the speculative project will feature 36-foot clear heights, 48 loading docks, four drive-in-bays, LED lighting systems, skylights and ample parking and trailer storage.
