​​​​​​IRVING – ​Pioneer Natural Resources is moving nearly 1,100 employees to a 750,000-sf office development within Verizon's $1 billion Hidden Ridge mixed-use project in Las Colinas. 

The $115 million office will sit on 38 acres at Hidden Ridge Dr., directly in the middle of th​e development. KDC is working with Verizon and Pioneer on the project.

To land the project, the city has agreed to give Pioneer nearly $6 million in economic incentives​. To qualify, Pioneer will have to open the offices by 2020 with 1,090 employees. The company expects to expand its workforce by more than 300 once the project is finished. 

Pioneer is currently housed in 600,000 sf in the Williams Square office complex in Las Colinas' Urban Center.

Located on 110 acres next to Verizon's long-time regional office, the Hidden Ridge development will have more than two million sf of office space, apartments, retail, restaurants, and a hotel.

Construction could begin later this year. Architect Gensler has been working on the master plans for the project.
