​​​SAN ANTONIO - ​​A pair of mega San Antonio corporations will find consumers very willing to forgive any mistakes, according to the latest Temkin Forgiveness Ratings.​

H-E-B and USAA have ranked highly in the latest round of consumer ratings from Temkin Ratings. 

The ratings show that USAA is number one in a variety of categories:

  • Customer Service—besting Chick-fil-A, Aldi and Trader Joe's
  • Trust—beating out Publix, Mercedes-Benz, Chick-fil-A and Amazon.com
  • Forgiveness—topping Publix, Amazon.com, Food Lion and H-E-B
  • Web Experience­—besting Amazon.com, Capital One, SunTrust Bank and eBay
However, H-E-B was no slouch in the ratings, finishing in the top ten for several categories: 
  • No. 2 in the Experience Ratings—finishing behind Publix but beating Kroger, True Value and Chick-fil-A
  • No. 4 in the Forgiveness Ratings—finishing behind USAA and Publix but tying Amazon.com and Food Lion
  • No. 9 in the Customer Service Ratings—finishing behind USAA, Chick-fil-A, Aldi, Trader Joe's and Publix.

Temkin, a customer experience research and consulting firm, compiled the rankings by surveying 10,000 consumers about their experiences, both in person and over the web, with companies, companies' customer service, company trustworthiness and how likely they would be to forgive a company's mistake.  

The surveys ranked over 260 companies in 20 industries, providing key insights into how large organizations treat their customers. ​
