KATY – The British International School of Houston will move into its new $80 million campus on time.

Located at Westgreen Blvd. and Franz Rd., the 275,000-sf campus will accept its first class this fall.

The campus will accommodate roughly 1,200 students. The school's current facilities at 4211 Watonga Blvd. can accommodate 850. That property will be sold once the school moves into its new campus.

The new campus will include science and design technology labs, an aquatic center, and athletic facilities. The school's performance auditorium was developed with New York City's The Julliard School, a global leader in arts education.

The owner of the British International School, Hong Kong-based Nord Anglia Education, is financing the project.

Fanning Howey + House Partners is the architect. Tribble & Stephens Construction Ltd. is the general contractor.

Construction, which began in early 2015, should wrap up in July.
