DALLAS - Two office buildings adjacent to Dallas’ Love Field have been purchased by a real estate investor that already has a big stake in North Texas.
California-based investor Buchanan St. Partners bought the Bluffview Towers located at the north end of the airport.
The almost 200,000-sf office project at Northwest Hwy. and Lemmon Ave. is more than 80 percent leased.
The new owners plan to start upgrades on the buildings which were developed in the 1980s. Commercial real estate firm JLL brokered the sale.
The four and seven-story brick and stone office buildings are located next to an Embassy Suites Hotel and are close to apartments and retail space.
The surge in airline traffic and business at Love Field was a major factor in the buildings’ purchase, said Buchanan St. Vice President Matt Haugen.
