FRISCO – The city, Frisco ISD, U.S. Soccer, and FC Dallas have started the $39 million redevelopment of the southern end of Toyota Stadium.

Plans include 100,000 sf of visitor space, new locker rooms, a private club, premium seats, and the National Soccer Hall of Fame Museum. The 24,000-sf museum is the first of its kind to be built within a stadium.

Construction is slated for completion by the opening of the 2018 FC Dallas soccer season. Until then, around 4,000 seats on the southern portion of Toyota Stadium have been closed for construction.

Manhattan Construction is the project's general contractor, while HKS Inc. designed the redevelopment.
