One Hermann Place ‘parks’ it in Houston
HOUSTON – Tema Development Inc. is nearing completion on One Hermann Place, a new luxury apartment project across the street from Hermann Park.
The seven-story, 224-unit apartment complex is on 2.25 acres at 1699 Hermann Dr. near Jackson St. in the Museum District.
Tema is expected to deliver the first units inside One Hermann Place in early June, and will hold a grand opening in July.
One Hermann Place will offer a mix of units, from 14 efficiency units to five penthouse units that exceed 2,200 sf.
The majority of the units will be one- and two-bedroom units, some with a study, that average 1,064 sf.
The units feature 10- to 13-foot ceilings, wood floors, soft-close drawers, quartz countertops, Carrara marble threshold entryways, glass light fixtures, large farm-house style sinks, USB charging stations and a Nest smart thermostat.
Common amenities include a rooftop sky lounge, a 12,000-sf courtyard, resort-style pool with a sunbathing ledge, fire pit, barbecue area, common-area Wi-Fi, a dog park, bicycle storage and electric car-charging stations.
One Hermann Place is expected to attract working professionals and empty nesters looking for an easy-to-maintain home in a walkable neighborhood near Hermann Park, Rice University and the Texas Medical Center, Tema officials said.
