BRYAN – Baker Hughes has sent a notice of closure announcing that it is permanently shutting down its Bryan facility.

In all, 54 employees were told they would be losing their jobs. Employees will be paid for a 60-day period and benefits will continue for three months following the layoff.

The company headquarters, based in Houston, announced in January that cuts would be made company wide. This is the second round of cuts at the Bryan facility this year.
