PEARLAND – American Modern Green, a subsidiary of Beijing-based Modern Land China, has begun construction on a $300 million mixed-use project on SH 288.
When finished, the 48-acre Ivy District will have 800,000 sf of development, including a five-story seniors community, townhomes, 150-room hotel, retail space, 15-acre park, 15,000-sf conference center, and 575 residential units.
Sueba USA will own a stake in the development. Other funding comes from foreign investors in the EB-5 immigration investment program, which allows foreign investors to obtain a U.S. visa if they invest sizable sums in America.
