CORPUS CHRISTI – WalletHub named three Texas cities the best in the nation for Hispanic entrepreneurs, and a fourth city wasn't far behind.

Laredo, El Paso, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville ranked first, second, third, and seventh, respectively, on a list of 150 of the most populated cities.

Analysts compared each city's "Hispanic business-friendliness" and "Hispanic purchasing power" to determine the ranking. Other factors included volume of Hispanic-owned businesses and statistics on Hispanic unemployment, renter-to-owner ratios, entrepreneur rates, income growth, affordable housing availability, median annual income, and percentage of Hispanics with college degrees.

Other cities in the top ten were Pembroke Pines, Fla.; Baton Rouge, La;, Hialeah, Fla.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; Tulsa, Okla.; and Oklahoma City.
